§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe market in shell eggs within the Community operates under the provisions of the common agricultural policy. This provides for free trade in eggs within the European Community and the application of sluicegate prices and levies on imports from third countries. It also provides for the payment of restitutions on exports from the Community to third countries.
