§ Mr. PymPolaris modernisation costs are included in a number of subheads of Defence Votes, mainly Vote 2. As explained in footnote 1 on page 1–18 of Supply Estimates Class I for 1980–81, for security reasons it is not the practice to identify nuclear costs separately.
