§ Mr. Austin Mitchellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish in the Official Report a table showing for each year since 1948 the savings after depreciation and stock appreciation of (a) industrial and commercial companies, (b) financial companies and institutions and (c) manufacturing companies.
§ Mr. LawsonInformation on (a) and (b) was published in the 1979 edition of National Income and Expenditure (tables 5.6 and 5.7). However, there have been substantial revisions since then. The current estimates are given below:
