§ Mr. McQuarrieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will make a statement on the results of his discussions with members of the Scottish fishing industry on 3 July in relation to the critical position of the fishing industry.
§ Mr. YoungerThe purpose of the meeting was to enable industry representatives to amplify the written submission already made on the industry's current situation. Some issues remain to be clarified but urgent consideration is now being given to the representations.
