§ Dr. BoysonMy right hon. and learned Friend welcomes this report as a useful contribution to public debate. We hope that its analysis will receive wide consideration by industry as well as those involved in education and training. The Department is currently considering many of the matters raised in the report, including overall educational provision for 16–19 year-cads, examinations at 17+ and the school curriculum; and we are undertaking consultations with outside interests on these and other issues. We do not therefore propose to hold specific discussions on this report.
