§ Mr. Spellerasked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will instruct the Manpower Services Commission to finish the practically completed special temporary employment programme survey of substandard housing in the Torridge district council area which had progressed for 36 weeks.
§ Mr. Jim LesterI understand from the Manpower Services Commission that the district council was invited in December to apply for further funding under the special temporary employment programme, and it is awaiting the council's response.
