asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the latest figure available since 10 May 1979 for unemployment among registered disabled workers; and what percentage of registered disabled people this represents, regionally and nationally.

I am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that in December 1979, the latest date for which figures are available, there were 59,623 registered disabled people unemployed. The percentage of all registered disabled people which this represents, both regionally and nationally, is set out in the table below:
