§ Mr. PrenticeAll social services authorities maintain registers of chronially sick and disabled people in their areas by specified categories. For the total numbers of registration I refer the 319W hon. Member to the reply I gave to the right hon. Member for Manchester, Wythenshawe (Mr. Morris) on 6 November 1979.—[Vol. 973, c. 161.] Prevalence rates for disabled people vary from area to area and it is not possible to relate numbers registered and estimated totals.
