§ Dr. VaughanThere is no question of our taking away their right to administer local anaesthetics. What is proposed, on the advice of the Medicines Commission, is that the amount of local anaesthetic they may administer to any patient in 24 hours should be limited in the interest of safety. I have agreed to meet representatives of the Chiropodists Board and the Society of Chiropodists before any steps are taken to implement this change.
