§ Mr. FairgrieveThe allocation of psychiatric nurses to community nursing duties is a matter for individual health boards, but I am not aware of any general shortage of trained psychiatric nurses willing to undertake such work. The Committee for Clinical Nursing Studies has published a syllabus for community psychiatric nursing and Glasgow college of technology hopes to begin a course based on that syllabus in the autumn.
