Mr. Brotherton

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, for each of the following countries, how many of their citizens have been granted political asylum in the United Kingdom in the last five years, for how long that asylum was granted, what happened to them when that asylum had expired and what representations have been made by their Governments: the Soviet Union, the German Democratic Republic, Poland, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria, Romania and Yugoslavia.
