§ Mr. MonroNo. I see no reason to make any changes. Successive Governments have held the view that the Sports Council system is the most effective way of giving the direct financial support from public funds needed by sport and active recreation. The present basis for this enables Ministers to make proper allocation in all the economic circumstances.
