§ 52. Mr. Cookasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when he intends to announce the Government's response to the recommendations of the Serpell committee on the Ordnance Survey.
§ Mr. KingI have not yet completed my study of possibilities for giving the Survey a more enterprising role and independent status. Appropriate consultations will then need to be held, and I do not expect to be able to make any announcement in the immediate future.
