§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithThe tonnage of apples, other than cider apples, imported into the United Kingdom from European Community sources between 1 July 1980—the beginning of the season — and 31 October 1980 was 62,792 compared with 84,762 tonnes in 1979. Separate figures are not available for dessert and cooking apples, but few, if any, cooking apples are imported.
