Whether they are supporting the United Nations approach to the Governments of Israel and Lebanon for a renewal of the Israel-Lebanon Mixed Armistice Commission to end the conflict in southern Lebanon, and whether they have been informed of the response from the two Governments.
§ Lord CarringtonWe support the efforts of the United Nations to reactivate the Israel-Lebanon Mixed Armistice Commission. We have not been informed officially of the response from the two Governments but we understand that negotiations are continuing.
