Mr. Farr

asked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) if he will list the value, volume, number of garments, kilograms of fabrics, and unit price of imports of multi-fibre arrangement categories 4, 5, 7 and 65 from the United States of America in 1978-–79 and the latest available figures for the current year, and similar for total United Kingdom imports;

(2) if he will list the value, volume and unit prices of imports of multi-fibre arrangement categories 4, 5, 7 and 65 from the United States of America that contain yarn of polyester fibres, continuous, trade codes 51.01: 0899, 0899, 1199 and 1399, in 1978, 1979, and the latest available figures for the current year.
