§ Mr. FowlerThe actual figures for 1979 are: road £13,525 million, rail £578 million, inland waterways £18 million, total £14,121 million. Users' expenditure figures are published annually in "Transport Statistics Great Britain", and these figures will be included in the volume to be published at the end of the year.
