asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in the Official Report the amount of asbestos used in the asbestos cement industry in the United Kingdom in each year since 1945.

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress has been made by the British Standards Institution 150/TL 77 study group 4 on the implications of the development of non-asbestos fibre reinforced cement alternatives to asbestos cement products; and if he will make a statement.
