§ Mr. StanleyI refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave on 29 July to my hon. Friend the Member for Woolwich, West (Mr. Bottomley) on the new housing subsidy system.—[Vol. 989, c. 631–32] In the light of the proposal that reckonable expenditure on repairs and maintenance should be brought within the system, we are considering what arrangements may be necessary for former new town housing and will be writing to the Association of District Councils shortly.
