§ Dr. BoysonThe importance of craft, design and technology courses in schools has already been emphasised in publications by my Department and by Her Majesty's Inspectorate, and in ministerial speeches. These have encouraged both the development of specialist courses and the need to relate other subjects within the curriculum to their industrial and practical applications.
