§ Mr. Fieldasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what was, for the year ended 31 March 1978 (a) the total number of children admitted to care from families who were, at the time of admission, in receipt of supplementary benefit, and (b) the number for each of the reasons for coming into care listed in table A3 of "Children in Care in England and Wales March 1978".
