§ Mr. David MitchellThe quantity of piece goods—including knitted goods—bleached and dyed by the finishing sector of the cotton and allied textiles industry fell by 4 per cent. between 1973 and 1978, from 802 million linear metres to 774 million linear metres. These figures, published by the textile statistics bureau, 417W include only a few firms from the Northern Ireland industry.
