HC Deb 12 November 1979 vol 973 c392W
Mr. Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will consider a review of the law relating to postal voting so as to enable voters in community and town council elections in Wales to cast their votes by post in all circumstances in which they would be legally entitled to do so for the purpose of parliamentary and county, borough and district council elections.

Mr. Whitelaw

I shall be considering this matter in the course of my review of absent voting procedures.
