§ Sir George YoungThe Government endorse the general objectives for the care of the elderly mentally infirm and severely mentally infirm set out in the White Paper "Better Services for the Mentally Ill", Cmnd. 6233. The nature and pace of implementation is for health and local authorities to determine in the light of local circumstances and priorities, and the availability of resources.
