HC Deb 25 May 1979 vol 967 cc272-3W
Mr. Dewar

asked the Secretary of State for Defence if the Government remain committed to the dispersal of civil servant jobs in his Department to Glasgow and the West of Scotland; if he will give the number of jobs being moved, their description and the site where they are to be located; and what is the expected timing of such moves.

Mr. Pattie

In accordance with the undertakings given before the general election, we have instituted a review of MOD's plans for dispersal to Glasgow; it is too early yet to forecast the outcome of this review.
