asked the Secretary of State for Employment what is the number of persons registered unemployed in each employment and travel-to-work area in the county of South Yorkshire at the latest available date and in 1972, with the percentage increase in each case and in the national average position.

The following table gives the numbers registered as unemployed in the areas specified at March 1972 and March 1979 and the percentage changes between these dates:
