§ Mr. Joplingasked the Secretary of State for the Environment how much has been spent and how many man-hours involved in each of the last 10 years in restoration and repair work to the Pele Tower and its environs at Clifton Hall, near Penrith; how much longer it is expected that the work will last; and at what cost.
§ Mr. ShoreThis monument was taken into guardianship in October 1973; repair work started in the financial year 1974–75. Details of the work are as follows:
