§ Mr. Skeetasked the Secretary of State for Energy to what extent the imposition of a financial target on the British Gas Corporation arising from 4 per cent. to 6.5 per cent. on turnover has been dictated by the existence of a wide price differential between competing fuels; and what he estimates the tariffs of the Corporation will have to be raised to meet the Corporation's financial criteria.
