§ Mr. Severasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland whether the rents of Northern Ireland Housing Executive houses are to be increased during the current year; and, if so, by what amount.
§ Mr. CarterThe rents of Housing Executive houses are to be increased by an average of 42p per week with effect from 2 July 1979. In order to enable further progress to be made in rationalising the rent structures inherited by the Executive, there will be a range of increases subject to a maximum increase of 77p per week.
