§ Mr. Teddy Taylorasked the Secretary of State for Scotland pursuant to his reply to the hon. Member for Glasgow, Cathcart on 12 March, whether any public funds were expended on alterations and improvements to Meldrum house which was vacated as part of the office reorganisation to prepare for a Scottish Assembly.
§ Mr. MillanWork on the alteration and improvement of Meldrum house has so far cost £26,000. This is part of a comprehensive improvement of the building which will in any event be required for its continued use as Government offices.
