§ 23. Mr. Maxwell-Hyslopasked the Secretary of State for Trade when he will be issuing the Government's response to the Second Report from the Expenditure Committee, Session 1978–79, on"Measures to prevent collisions and strandings of noxious cargo carriers in waters around the United Kingdom ", and which of the Committee's 32 recommendations have been implemented by the Government since the report was published on 12 January.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisThis is a valuable and detailed report and I hope to publish the Government's reply by Easter. Of the report's recommendations, 14 have been implemented in whole or in part. The remainder are being studied in consultation with the industry.
