HC Deb 12 March 1979 vol 964 cc3-4W
Mr. Brotherton

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what plans he has to ensure that the courts can continue to operate without disruption in the event of a strike by members of the Civil and Public Services Association and the Society of Civil and Public Servants.

The Solicitor-General

I have been asked to reply, as responsibility for courts served by members of the CPSA and SCPS rests with my noble Friend, the Lord Chancellor.

My noble Friend has made arrangements to ensure, so far as practicable, that disruption resulting from industrial action is kept to a minimum. It would not be appropriate to publish details of these arrangements.
