§ The Prime MinisterMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Trans-700W port is responsible for regulating the lead content of petrol. In carrying out this function he acts in close consultation with other Ministers concerned, in particular with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for the Environment, who has the general responsibility for co-ordinating action on all aspects of lead and other pollution, and with my right hon. Friends the Secretaries of State for Social Services and for Energy.
