HC Deb 07 March 1979 vol 963 cc683-4W
Mr. Morgan

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what is the current annual remuneration of a non-executive member of the board of British Airways; what expenses are currently claimable by such a member in the exercise of his functions; and at what rate.

Mr. Clinton Davis

The current annual remuneration of non-executive members of the board—all of whom are part-time appointments—is either £1,650 or £1,100 per annum. Non-executive members are entitled to claim any expenses properly incurred in respect of their duties.

is taken from the report of the Working Group on the Employment of Non-domiciled Seafarers which was published in February 1978.
