§ Mr. Harry EwingAn incident at Peterhead prison took place on 21 February 1979 when the governor of the prison was assaulted by a prisoner and then quickly subdued him. The weapon used by the prisoner was a razor blade inserted in a tooth-brush handle. Both parties involved in the incident received minor injuries. They were treated for these at a local health centre and returned to the prison.
