§ Mr. du Cannasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if he will list in the Official Report the names of all the bodies to which grants have been given to support local price surveys and the amounts.
§ Mr. MaclennanGrants under the local price comparison scheme are paid at a rate of 100 per cent. of approved expenditure, subject to a maximum grant of 417W £1,300 per survey in the current financial year. The majority of surveys are conducted by local authorities, but a number of other organisations also participate in the scheme. Payments made to 31 January 1979 to participants, many of whom carry out more than one survey, for this year's surveys are:
