§ Mr. Jim LesterA study commissioned by my Department is currently under way into aspects of labour markets affecting men aged 45–65. It is seeking to examine in depth for three local areas the experiences of the employed and the unemployed in this group and the practices of employers and employment agencies with regard to them.
