§ Mr. PrenticeThe information requested is shown in the following table. The gross income levels known as the "prescribed amounts", below which family income supplement (FIS) is payable, are the same for married couples and lone parents. My right hon. Friend has announced that, subject to parliamentary approval, FIS will be increased next November. Details, including new prescribed levels, will be given to the House shortly.
