What steps they are taking to ensure a review of the coefficients used in the calculations of pigmeat monetary compensation amounts.
Earl FERRERSThe coefficients which are used to calculate the monetary compensatory amounts for cuts of pigmeat and pigmeat products and which are derived from the amount applied to the basic product—namely, a pig carcase—were reviewed and modified with effect from 1st May 1979. We shall be keeping these coefficients under review.
