asked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will specify the total oil available to the British National Oil Corporation and the amount sold to (a) North America, (b) Japan, (c) the United Kingdom and (d) the rest of the EEC.

I will ask the chairman of the British National Oil Corporation to write to the hon. Member giving such information on the Corporation's disposals as is not commercially confidential.
