§ Dr. VaughanThe South-East Thames regional health authority is not expected to reach a decision on the future pattern of cardiothoracic, neurological and neurosurgical provision until the regional medical committee has had an opportunity to consider the conclusions of the London health planning consortium. The consortium has established independent study groups to advise on the provision of these services in the Thames regions and the reports of these study groups are expected to be available later this year.
