§ Mr. Frank Allaunasked the Lord Privy Seal what steps he proposes to take for the week starting 24 October, the 497W week proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly as a week devoted to fostering the objectives of disarmament.
§ Mr. HurdThe 1979 United Nations Day leaflet, produced by the Government and widely distributed by nongovernmental organisations, will contain a message about disarmament week. The Government are giving further thought to possible ways of interesting the news media, and through them the general public.
