Mr. Hannam

asked the Lord Privy Seal what assurances the United Kingdom has obtained from the Italian Government regarding the contract of British Nuclear Fuels Ltd. to reprocess fuel from the Latina nuclear power stations.

Notes were exchanged with the Italian Government on 12 July on the return of waste and the form in which plutonium should be transported. Copies of these are being placed in the Library of the House.
