asked the Prime Minister if she will list the Government Departments having responsibility for youth and youth activities and the statutes primarily involved in identifying the Department's functions.

Most Government Departments have a concern for youth and youth activities within their general responsibilities. The Departments which may be regarded as principally concerned, and the statutes primarily involved, areDepartment of Education and Science: Education Act 1944 Department of Employment: Employment and Training Act 1973 Department of Health and Social Security:Children's Act 1948, 1958 and 1975 Children and Young Persons Act 1933, 1963 and 1969
