Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Industry whether, as a means of improving the public street telephone service and obviating vandalism of public telephone booths, he will seek to establish a system of special telephone coins which may be purchased from post offices and tobacconists, usable only in telephones and use less for normal purposes of currency, similar to that now in operation in Italy and certain other of the countries on the Continent.
