asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will seek a meeting with the chairman of the Wessex regional health authority to discuss policy on relevant matters.

Dr. Vaughan

My right hon. Friend and I meet regularly with all regional chairmen as a group to discuss major issues of policy and will next do so in September. I am also seeing a number of regional chairmen individually.
