HC Deb 23 July 1979 vol 971 c93W
Dr. Roger Thomas

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services what evidence there is that within the area of the Gwynedd health authority the public tend in an emergency to call an ambulance to convey people to the hospital emergency department rather than to call in the general practitioner with whom they are officially registered; and whether the additional pressure this places upon the emergency services reflects a national trend.

Mr. Wyn Roberts

I have been asked to reply.

None.
