§ Mr. Buchanan-SmithFor the four-week period ending 8 July 1979, the latest for which estimates are available, shell egg imports from France are provisionally estimated at 37,000 boxes. The estimated average cif price was £10 per box. The estimated average packer selling prices for home produced eggs during the same period were between £6.50 and £15.50 according to grade.
