§ Mr. Craigenasked the Lord Privy Seal what is the policy of Her Majesty's Government towards the Council of Europe declaration on the police (resolution 690).
§ Mr. HurdThe Government will be considering carefully in consultation with other member States of the Council of Europe at the meeting of the Committee of Ministers Deputies in September next the contribution which a resolution of this nature can play in ensuring high standards of policing.
