§ Mr. Jim LesterI am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that in 1978–79 expenditure by the hotel and catering industry training board on training in the industry amounted to £6.57 million, most of which is raised by levy on employers in the industry. In addition, the operating costs of the board, including its training advisory services, which are met by the MSC, amounted to £2.38 million.
